When a team member leaves your organization, their access needs to be removed from ABOSS. This article walks you through what to check and prepare beforehand, how to remove the user, and what to expect after.

1. Before you remove the user

Take care of the following before removing the employee:

Check if they are the Billing Admin

In Artist PRO, it's not possible to see directly who the Billing Admin is. If you think the departing employee might be the Billing Admin, get in touch with us before removing them — use the blue support chat button in the bottom right of your screen.

Check their Responsible Agent assignments

Removing a user does not automatically remove them as Responsible Agent on events. Their name will remain listed on those events — they simply won't have access anymore.

ICS calendar feed

If the employee had set up a personal ICS calendar feed to sync ABOSS with their external calendar (Google, iCal, Outlook), that feed will stop syncing once their account is removed. No action needed, but good to be aware of.

2. How to remove the user

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar on the left.

  2. Select User Management.

  3. Click the bin icon next to the user's name.

  4. The user immediately loses access to the Artist PRO account.

3. What happens after removal

Once removed, the user immediately loses access to your ABOSS Artist PRO environment. Their name will remain listed as Responsible Agent on any events they were assigned to, but they can no longer log in. All data they created stays fully intact.

4. Re-adding a user

You can always re-invite the user at any time via the Contacts module. They can log in with their previous password.
