1. Overview of Agency and Artist PRO
Agency is built for organizations that manage multiple artists. It provides one central environment to coordinate shows, contracts, finances, and planning across a roster, and you can add team members with roles and permissions.
Artist PRO is meant for individual artists or bands who want to manage their own career. It provides the full set of tools needed to manage a career independently, including handling events, travel items, records, financials, and other details that matter day to day. It also makes it possible to collaborate directly with band members and close team.
2. Core Feature Differences
Much of the functionality is the same: both let you add events, manage advancing, and share dates with artists or crew, and many more.
There are, however, a few key differences. Contracts can only be created, edited, and sent from Agency. In Artist PRO, the contract page is view-only and only available if the contract has been shared by the agency.
Availability is only available in Artist PRO. It allows artists and crew to mark themselves as available, unavailable, or unsure per event. This gives everyone a clear overview of who is expected where.
If you're part of multiple Artist PRO accounts, your calendar will only show events where you're marked as available.
3. Permissions
Both let you add as many users as you want and set permissions based on what each person should or shouldn’t have access to.
In Artist PRO, permissions can be set more precisely. You can limit visibility to only the shows a user is marked available for, and show travel items only when relevant—such as flights the user is on or hotels where they’re listed as a guest.
4. Sharing
Agency and Artist PRO can share data seamlessly. Events can be linked so each side uses its own features in the same event—bookings and deals on one side, and travel items, advancing, or availability on the other. In practice, both contribute to the same event while keeping their own workflow intact.
