1. Project Files
Project files are documents tied to a specific project, such as a rider or setlist. Once uploaded, these files can be used as attachments for invoices, guest lists, or advancing requests.
In Artist PRO, you can upload or delete project files by navigating to:
Settings > Files.
Permissions required:
You need View permissions to access the files of a specific project.
Manage or higher permissions allow you to add and delete files.
2. Event Files
Event files are linked to a specific event and can include call sheets, riders, parking info, and more. Once uploaded, these files will be available inside the event and can be accessed through the web or the app.
You can upload event files by dragging the file into the event window or by uploading it from your computer.
Event files will be available for attaching to guest lists or advancing requests linked to the event.
3. Deal Files
Deal files are stored within the Deal tab of an event and can include financial information or deal statements. These files are not accessible to users with only View permissions on events. Users need at least View permissions on Deals to access these files.
Deal files cannot be used for advancing or other outgoing communications.
4. Travel Files
If you've created a travel item, you can upload files such as boarding passes, itineraries, or hotel check-in information. These files are linked specifically to the travel item, allowing your Artist or Crew to view them in ABOSS when needed.
5. Sending Files with Your Outgoing Emails and Advancing Requests
With the exception of Deal files, you can attach files you've uploaded in ABOSS to guest lists, invoices, and advancing requests.
When sending an email (for a guest list or invoice), you will be directed to a mail screen where you can select files from your Project or Event environment. You can also upload a file directly from your computer by clicking Upload from your computer.
To add a file to an advancing request, click on the Add file button. You’ll then have the option to choose between Project/Event files or upload from your computer.
